Stearns County Sheriff: Bike Theft
 
On 6-15-09 at 1859 hours, a deputy was dispatched to a theft of a bike. The incident happened between 1715-1745 hours from in front of a house.
 
Bike description is: 20'' BMX blue Haro. It had a black bar, black foot pegs, flame seat that had pony written on it. The back tire was bent. The value was $375.00.

Stearns County Sheriff: Criminal Damage to Property
 
On 6-12-09 around 0330 hours a property damage occurred in St Joseph Twp on Ivy Rd.  A car ran off the road and over the top of a chain linked fence as well as into 2 of his storage sheds.  Both sheds were extensively damaged along with an ATV and a riding lawnmower that were in the sheds.
 
The suspect vehicle is possibly a 2005 or 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt cashmere metallic in color (also known as a variation of tan).  The bumper cover is a replacement cover and will be black.  The right passenger mirror cover was torn off.  There will also be part of the black bumper missing.  Underneath the hood the air intake resonator will also be missing.

Stearns County Sheriff: Residential Burglary and Theft
 
On 5-12-09 at 1744 hours, deputies were dispatched to a burglary that occurred over the weekend. This incident occurred in the 900 block of CR 120 in LeSauk Twp.  Between 5-8-09 at 1730 and 5-10-09 at 1600 hours, the residence was burglarized while the daughter was home and left the door unlocked on 5-9-09 from 1800-2200 hours.
 
Taken were:
20 gauge 2 3/4 inch 870 Remington Wing Master gun $750.00 value
A crown royal jar of money $200.00

St. Cloud Police: Suspicious Fire

On 06/14/09 at approximately 1201 hours officers, along with St. Cloud fire Department, were dispatched to 1121 25th Avenue North in reference to a house fire. No one was inside the house at the time of the fire and no one was injured.

Investigation revealed the fire to be suspicious in nature and it is currently being investigated by St. Cloud Police and St. Cloud Fire Department.

Anyone with information is asked to contact St. Cloud Police at 251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 255-1301.

Stearns County Sheriff: Theft from Multiple Vehicles
 
On the evening of June 4, 2009 multiple vehicles parked in the Pleasant Acres Addition in St Wendel Township had been broken into and had items stolen from them.  All of the vehicles had the doors unlocked allowing the thieves to gain access very easily.  Among the items stolen were a digital camera, keys, a Bushnell range finder, a purse and wallet.  If anyone has any information that could help the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
Also, this could serve as a reminder to lock all of your doors and call in anything suspicious.

Benton County Sheriff: Aggravated Assault with Injuries

At approx. 9:52 a.m. on 6/11/09 a motorist informed a Benton County deputy that while driving on Hwy 25 he observed a male in the yard of a residence located in the 7700 block of Hwy 25 NE Foley, MN that he believed was in need of medical assistance.

Benton County Deputies located the male and discovered that he had been stabbed twice. The victim was conscious and was airlifted to the Saint Cloud Hospital by Life Link.

Investigators are following up on several leads in the case. A motive for the assault is not known at this time. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing. No further information is available at this time.
