St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Robbery with Injuries
On 06/24/09 at 1157 hours officers were dispatched to 10th Avenue South
and 12th Street South in reference to a robbery complaint that occurred at
0130 hours.
Officers learned that a 22 year old resident of St. Cloud and a 25 year
old male resident of St. Cloud were walking home from the downtown area
when they were approached by three males. One of these males forcibly
removed a cell phone out of the victim's hand in an attempt to steal it.
The victim ultimately regained possession of his cell phone, but his
companion was struck in the head by a second male.
The victim of the robbery was ultimately tackled to the ground and was
repeatedly kicked in the head, neck, and body area by all three males.
The three males then fled the scene and entered into what was described as
a 1998 to 2000 white Pontiac Bonneville. The victims could not provide any
description of the suspects, other than being black males ages 18 to 22
years old.
Note: another black female was seen in 1he vehicle but no other
description could be given. The victims received minor injuries requiring
no medical treatment.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 06/25/09 at approximately 0045 hours, officers were dispatched to the
300 block of 24th Avenue North for a burglary in progress.
Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) entered a detached garage
and stole change from inside vehicle. All doors leading into the garage
were locked, and there were no signs of forced entry. Nothing else was
taken from the garage and there was no damage. No one was injured during
the incident.
St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 06/23/09 at approximately 1747 hours, officers were dispatched to the
1000 block of 17th Avenue North for a burglary. Investigation revealed
that on 06/22/09, an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence of the
victim while she was in her garden. The victim's credit cards, checkbook,
and driver's license were stolen from the residence. No one was injured
during the burglary.

St. Cloud Police: Suspicious Fire
(Update)
Update – The St. Cloud Fire Marshall is
investigating this case as an arson. The Minnesota Arson Hotline is
offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of
the arsonist.
On 06/14/09 at approximately 1201 hours officers, along with St. Cloud
fire Department, were dispatched to 1121 25th Avenue North in reference to
a house fire. No one was inside the house at the time of the fire and no
one was injured.
Investigation revealed the fire to be suspicious in nature and it is
currently being investigated by St. Cloud Police and St. Cloud Fire
Department.

Stearns County Sheriff: Theft from Boat
On 05-18-09 at approximately 1300 hours the Stearns County Sheriff was
dispatched to the 300 block of Crow Lake Street, Brooten, for a theft of a
tackle box.
The complainant had taken the day off to go fishing.
When he walked out to his boat, he noticed that his tackle box was
missing.
The boat, a 2003 Yarcraft was covered by a snap-on
cover. The Plano tackle box was in the boat underneath the cover. The
Plano tackle box was made of canvas and was black and blue and contained
approximately $500-$600 of tackle.
Waite Park Police: Felony Damage to Property
On 6/6/09 Waite Park Police Department received a damage to property
complaint. A residence on the 1800 block of Old County Road 6 reported the
head was broken off a concrete horse statue. The horse head was not
recovered.
Stearns County Sheriff: Bike Theft
On 6-15-09 at 1859 hours, a deputy was dispatched to a theft of a bike.
The incident happened between 1715-1745 hours from in front of a house.
Bike description is: 20'' BMX blue Haro. It had a black bar, black foot
pegs, flame seat that had pony written on it. The back tire was bent. The
value was $375.00. |
