St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft
On 06/06/09 officers took a report of a burglary in the 300 block of 5th
Avenue South. Officers learned that the two victims had left the main door
unlocked when they went to sleep and woke up to find that someone had
stolen items from their residence and had also gone through their
vehicles.
At this time, the case is still under investigation. The St. Cloud Police
Department encourages citizens to keep their doors locked and their garage
doors shut in the evening hours.
St. Cloud Police: Attempted Vehicle Theft and Criminal Damage to
Property
On 06/08/09 at approximately 0300 hours officers responded to the 800
block of Rilla Road and found that someone attempted to steal a vehicle
from the parking lot of an apartment complex in the area.
In an attempt to drive the vehicle off the lot, it slammed into and
damaged four garages and a privacy fence. The suspect(s) left the vehicle
in the area and fled the scene. There was extensive damage to the garages
and the vehicle.
