St. Cloud Police/St. Cloud Fire: 3 – Arson Fires, Vehicle Tampering and Theft

On 08/10/09 at approximately 0431 hours officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Osseo Avenue South, in reference to a shed fire.

Upon arrival officers were made aware of two additional garage fires in the 700 block of 18th Avenue South along with multiple vehicle break-ins.

With the assistance of the St. Cloud Fire Department, the fires were put out before they could spread to any other structures.

Once the fires were put out, investigation revealed that the suspect(s) has also attempted to start a fire inside one of me vehicles. At this point all three structure fires are suspected to be arson and appear to be related to the vehicle break-ins.

Stearns County Sheriff Case: Business Burglary and Theft
 
On the early morning hours of 08/02/2009 the Luxemburg Feed Mill at 21697 St Hwy 15 was broken into. 

This agency is looking for at least two suspects, one of which is attached in the photograph.
 
St. Cloud Police: Motel Room Burglary and Theft

On 08/07/09 at approximately 1840 hours officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 4th Avenue South for a report of burglary.

Investigation revealed that an unknown person entered a hotel room and stole a wallet and cell phone. It is believed that the door leading into the room did not latch properly.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 08/06/09 at approximately 2240 hours officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of St. Germain Street West for a burglary.

Investigation revealed that an unknown person entered an apartment while the victim was home and stole various medications. There were other items of value in the apartment that were not taken.

The front door to the apartment was left unlocked.

Stearns County Sheriff: Mailbox vandalism

On 08/06/2009 at 14:41 hrs, the Stearns County Sheriff received a report of mailbox vandalism on County Road 3, South of River Street, Holdingford, in Holding Township.

A female who wishes to remain anonymous was standing next to the garden in her front yard. An unidentified car, traveling southbound on CR 3 with passengers, drove past her home. One of the passengers pointed a shotgun out the window, discharging it at the mailbox. The shotgun blast went through the mailbox. The trajectory of the shotgun pellets traveled past the woman, nearly striking her.

Stearns County Sheriff: Residential Burglary and Theft (From Week of 8-3-2009)
 
A theft was reported from a residence near Pearl Lake on 7-31-09.  Taken in the theft was a chainsaw.  It was taken from a machine shed.  The chainsaw was an Echo brand name and the model is CS8000.  The victim has no serial number information.  It's orange in color with a 20 inch bar. Value was about $450
