St. Cloud Police: Robbery and Theft
On 08(23/09 at approximately 0352 hours, officers responded to the south
side of St. Cloud for a robbery report. Officers met with an 18 year old,
Brooklyn Park resident, who stated at approximately 0130 hours, he was
approached by a large group of black males. The males demanded his wallet,
money and eventually assaulted the victim taking cash, the victim's shoes
and a cell phone.
The only descriptions of the suspects are black males and at this time
they have not been located.

Up-Date:
On 08/23/09 at approximately 0458 hours, while officers were investigating
a robbery officers located several cell phones on a suspect who could not
explain who the phones belonged to.
Officers learned that the phones were stolen in another robbery earlier in
the night in which a group of approximately ten black males assaulted and
stole items from three college students.
Stearns County Sheriff: Theft of Outboard Motor
On 8/22/09 at approximately 1326 hours a Stearns County Deputy took a
theft report of a late 70's model Johnson 10 HP outboard motor, white in
color, from a boat on Long Island Lake, just off of Island Lake Road in
Collegeville Township.
The thieves cut a lock that secured the motor to the boat and stole it
from the boat. There are no suspects at this time.
Waite Park Police: Assault, Robbery and Theft
On 08/22/2009 at 2115 hours officers from Waite Park responded to the area
of Cash Wise Foods, 113 Waite Ave South on an assault complaint.
A witness to the crime called 911 and reported three suspects fleeing east
into the City of St. Cloud. Upon arrival officers learned that a 14 year
old male victim had been stabbed with a knife in the upper torso.
Officers from the Stearns County Sheriff's Office, St. Cloud Police
Department and the MN State Patrol responded to the area where the
suspects were last seen. Within minutes officers had the three suspects,
all juveniles, in custody. Two suspects were located near Best Buy and one
near the Super 8 Motel in St. Cloud.
Investigation determined that one of the suspects attempted to take the
victims bicycle. During a struggle over control of the bicycle the suspect
stabbed the victim with a knife. A 17 year old male suspect was arrested
on charges of First Degree Aggravated Robbery and will be held in secure
detention until his Initial court appearance.
The other two suspects were released to parents. The victim was
transported and treated at the St. Cloud Hospital. At this time it is
believed the injuries to the victim are not life threatening.

St. Cloud Police: Robbery and Theft
On 08/20/09 at approximately 0134 hours officers were dispatched to the
1300 block of 15th Street North for a robbery.
Officers met with the victim, a 48 year old male from St. Cloud who stated
he had been taken down and assaulted by approximately six Somalia males.
The males had pushed him to the ground, punched him and kicked him and
took his wallet and cell phone. The victim was unable to give a
description of what the males were wearing or where they had gone.
Officers had checked the area for the suspects with negative results.
