St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary and Theft

On 09/01/09 at 0233 hours officers were dispatched to 3700 West Division Street in reference to a burglary.

The investigation revealed that the suspect(s) forced entry into the business and stole several items.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is encouraged to call the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.

St. Cloud Police: Animal Theft

On 08/30/09 at approximately 2215 hour’s officers responded to the 1000 block of 13th Avenue South for a theft which had just occurred. Officers met with a 19-year-old female resident of St. Cloud who stated she had her four month old Yorkie Poo puppy stolen from her backyard. The dog had been outside for approximately 15 minutes when an unknown person came into the yard and took her.

It is a black Yorkie Poo weighing approximately four pounds with a tan face and legs, short hair on the body and longer hair around the head. The dog was last seen wearing a black collar with a silver heart and comes to the name "Cocoa.

Officers of the St. Cloud Police Department are asking for the public's help with any information on the whereabouts of this dog and returning it to the owner. If you have any information contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 320-155-1301.

Stearns County Sheriff: Squad Car Vandalism and Theft

On 7-12-09 at approximately 0100hrs a Stearns County Patrol car was vandalized while parked out side of Doochies Bad Company Bar in Saint Martin.  Address of 140 Main Street, Saint Martin.  All four hubcaps were taken and all 5 lug nuts were taken from the right front tire.  No suspects at this time, any information would be greatly appreciated to aid in the investigation process.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 08/29/09 at 0542 hours officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 5th Avenue Southeast reference to a burglary complaint.

Officers met with a 64-year-old St. Cloud resident who stated between the hours of 0130 and 0540 on 08/29/09, unknown suspect(s) broke into his garage and stole a silver and burgundy mini-bike. Also taken was an older model go-cart located on the outside of the garage.

St. Cloud Police: Phone Scam Alert

On 018-26-09 the St, Cloud Police Department was alerted of a possible telephone scam. An employee at the water treatment facility had received 2 complaints of callers receiving automated messages claiming to be from the water treatment department stating that St. Cloud City employees were going door to door conducting water testing. During the course of the recorded message, the person
who answered the phone is asked several questions which require the input of personal information via the touch-dial on the phone.

This alert is to advise that currently no water quality testing via households is being conducted by the City of St. Cloud. Callers should ignore this automated message and not provide the data asked by the automated calling system.
