Becker Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 01/10/10 at approximately 1947 hours, the Becker Police responded to the 14000 block of Cottonwood Blvd, on a report of a Burglary.
.
Investigation revealed that while the owners of the residence were away, unknown person(s) entered the residence and garage areas and removed without permission a large amount of electronics valued between $7,500 and $10,000. - Damage was also done to the residence and also to a vehicle parked in the garage area.

A white 4-door sedan was observed in the area when the burglary was said to have occurred. The investigation is ongoing.

The Becker Police Department is looking for any information related to this burglary. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call the Becker Police Department at 763-261-4300. St. Cloud Police: Attempted Scam

On 01/11/10 at approximately 1800 hours officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Crescent Ridge Trail in reference to a matter of information complaint. Officers met with the elderly complainant who stated she had received several phone calls letters in the mail stating she had won large amounts of money.

When the complainant advised she was contacting the police the individual on the other end of the line got angry and asked why she had to do that. The male was unable or unwilling to provide further company information.

The St. Cloud Police Department would like to remind individuals to not provide personal information or money to unknown individuals as they are often not legitimate.

Waite Park Police: Business Burglary and Theft

On January 9, 2010 officers were dispatched to KO-Z's located at 601 2nd Street S, Waite Park for a burglary complaint. Entry was gained when the suspect(s) broke out a window to the business. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the business.

It appears the suspect may have significantly cut their side or leg when entering the building.

St. Cloud Police: Residential Burglary and Theft

On 01/10/2010 officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Raymond Avenue Northeast for a burglary complaint. Further investigation revealed that forced entry was made through a window and a Dell lap top computer was taken from the residence.

St. Cloud Police: Vandalism to Vehicles (16)

On 01/10/10 at approximately 0005 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 10th Avenue South for a report of vandalized vehicles.

Investigation ultimately revealed that vehicles in several locations had been damaged.
* Seven vehicles in the 1300 block of 10th Avenue South
* Two vehicles in the 1400 block of 10th Avenue South,
* Three vehicles in the 1400 block of 17th Street South
* Four vehicles in the 800 block of 26th Avenue North

All damaged in a similar fashion. The damage is believed to have occurred sometime between 2200 hours on 01/09/10 and 0005 hours on 01/10/10.

Waite Park Police: Theft from Newspaper Machines (From week of 1-4-10)

On 01/03/2010 a series of coin thefts from St. Cloud Times newspaper machines has occurred at several locations in Waite Park. Investigation revealed that these thefts have also occurring in the cities of St. Cloud, Sartell and Sauk Rapids.

No suspects at this time but anyone with information are asked to contact the Waite Park Police Department 320-251-6300 or Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.
