Stearns County Sheriff: Business Burglary and Theft
Stearns County deputies are looking for information about a burglary that
happened sometime last weekend (1-30-10 to 1-31-10) in Brooten. The
burglary was reported Monday morning at J&K Meats, 131 Pleasant Ave.
Sometime after closing on Saturday, someone broke into the front door with
a crow bar, Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner said. A cash register
containing checks and cash was taken. A file cabinet also was reported
missing.
Deputies found the cash register and file cabinet along a road in a rural
area near Brooten.
