Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of March 10, 2008

Stearns County Sheriff: Stolen Dog

On 3-11-08 a 9 year old spade female, registered black lab was stolen from or near Larkspur Lane in Collegeville Twp.  About 2 hours after comp realized "Terra" was missing he received a call from person at St Johns University, this person had found "Terra's" dog collar on Fruit Farm Road by the Collegeville Credit Union, comp was going to pick collar up in the morning.  Comp said Terra would never run away from home.  Dog is micro-chipped in right ear, comp has reported it stolen through microchip company as well. Dog valued at $2000.00.


St. Cloud Police: Residential Garage Burglary and Theft

On 03/11/08 at approximately 1925 hours officer were dispatched to an address in the 1500 block of St. Germain Street East in reference to a burglary complaint.

Investigation revealed that unknown individual(s) gained entrance into a garage and stole two speakers and other electronic equipment. At this time it is unknown who committed this crime and thus if anyone has any information please contact the St. Cloud Police at 320-251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 320-255-1301.


Waite Park Police: Stolen Vehicle

Waite Park Police Department is investigating a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant stated they started a 1994 Nissan Altima, maroon in color, on March 8th, at 3:00 am and when they returned at 3:30 am the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was running with the keys in it. The vehicle was taken from 525 2nd Ave S, Waite Park. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of the vehicle or information on who may have taken it, please contact the Waite Park Police Department at 251-3281 or Crime Stoppers at 255-1301.


Waite Park Police: Theft from Vehicles

Officers responded to a report of a theft of 4 custom chrome 18 in rims and tires. The rims and tires were stolen off of a Cadillac Seville STS white in color parked in an apartment complex garage. Old tires were used as jacks under the vehicle.


St. Cloud Police: Business Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property and Theft

On 03/06/08 at approximately 0600 hours officers were dispatched to Maney International, 375 33rd Avenue South to investigate a burglary complaint.

Investigation revealed that the business had been entered by prying open an exterior door. Once inside the unknown suspects caused property damage and stole a small amount of cash.

St. Cloud Police: Aggravated Robbery

On 03/16/08 at approximately 2134 hours officers were dispatched to 1100 block of 9th Avenue South for a robbery, which had occurred.

The investigation revealed that two males, a 19 year old St. Cloud resident and a 20 year old St. Cloud resident, had been approached by an unknown black male, who stated that he had a gun and demanded their money. No gun was observed. The victims turned over a small amount of cash and the suspect fled the area on foot.

Neither victim was injured during the incident. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male with an accent, approximately 6'3" tall, approximately 155 pounds, with little or no facial hair, and wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
