Crime Stoppers Open Cases for Week of March 15, 2010

St. Cloud Police: Armed Robbery –
Subject considered Dangerous
On 03/18/10 at 0853 hours officers were dispatched
to 423 East St. Germain, the Ace Bar & Grill, regarding an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed a business employee had been opening the
establishment when he was approached by a masked gunman. The suspect
displayed a handgun and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the
employee.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'6" to 5'8", with
a medium build. The mask is described as being a ski mask-type, having
only eye holes and being dark in color. The suspect was wearing dark pants
and a lighter blue-colored jacket with white trim near the zipper area.
The under side of the jacket sleeves were also a lighter color blue or
green. The suspect was wearing white tennis shoes. The suspect left the
business in an unknown direction of travel.
Police believe the suspect either works or lives in the area. Any tipsters
are asked to call SCPD at 251-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 255-1301. No
one should attempt to confront this guy as he should be considered armed
and dangerous. Waite Park Police: Robbery and Assault
On 3-13-2010 at 316 hrs officers responded to a robbery
complaint that occurred on the sidewalk in the 400 block of 7th Street S,
Waite Park. The victim was walking when he noticed two the suspects
walking toward him. As the victim passed, the males turned around and one
male approached the victim and began speaking to him. The victim was then
punched numerous times and the suspects attempted to throw the victim to
the ground and steal his property.
The victim sustained minor injuries, but was able to get away and call
911. Taken from the victim was a Samsung Rant cell phone, a blue backpack,
phone and iPod chargers, a black hooded sweatshirt, and other
miscellaneous items.
The suspects are described as two black males approximately 20 years old.
One male was wearing a black jacket and the other was wearing a white or
light colored hooded sweatshirt. Both males had their hoods over their
heads.

On March 2, 2010 during the early morning hours a male suspect entered
parking garages located underneath apartments located in the 100 block of
12th Ave S, 1100 block of 1st St S, and the 1500 block of 7th Ave S.
The male broke windows to gain entry to at least 14 vehicles and numerous
items taken including cell phones, GPS units, IPOD?s, car chargers for
electronics, portable DVD players, hair cutting supplies, and car stereos
amongst other items.

As of 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, no new
crimes have been reported. Waite Park Police: Business Burglary and Theft
(From week of 3-1-2010)
Sometime between 2/28/2010 and 3/1/2010 suspects entered the Smoke Shop
located at on 2nd Street S. Waite Park. Suspects entered an unoccupied
business next to the Smoke Shop. Suspects cut through the sheet rock to
gain access to the office area.
Suspects stole 442 cartons of cigarettes (various brands), lighters,
cigars, and butane refills. Also taken was a Floyd brand safe containing
an undisclosed amount of cash.
